Sarajevo, rush hour. Accompanied by a social worker, fifteen-year-old Emir is on his way to meet his father Safet for a weekend picnic at Igman, a semi-open penitentiary. Due to the heavy traffic, they are late.

Jure Pavlović (1985)
He studied film and TV directing at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art. Parallel with his studies, he worked as an assistant director on several feature films gaining precious experience. He also took part in different international workshops and talent venues like Sources 2, MAIA, Microvawe Film London Micro School, Motovun Film School, Jewish IFF Talent Workshop, Sarajevo Talent Campus, Berlinale Talents (Short Film Station project lab). His short film Half an Hour for Grandma (2010) won the Golden Oil Lamp Award (award for moral and ethics in Croatian films) at Days of Croatian Film and toured festivals around the world. His second professional short film Umbrella (2012), produced by Sekvenca company which he founded, premiered at the 10th Mediterranean Short Film Festival in Tangier, Morocco and won the award for Best Director. Since then, it has won a number of other awards and has been screened at dozens of festivals around the world (Cottbus FF, Sofia IFF; Braunschweig FF,Bovino FF, Cinefiesta FF, etc.). Currently, he is developing his debut feature Just Close Your Eyes.
