Between 1945 and 1990, more than a thousand monuments were built to commemorate the National Liberation War in Yugoslavia, making them a vital part of public and private life. During the 1990s in Croatia, almost half of them were taken down and devastated, while their parts were turned into raw material. The film speaks about the fate of these artworks and the society that has rejected its history and artistic heritage.
