The government investigates the widows of Croatian soldiers in order to track down those living in extra-marital unions and take away their late husbands’ pensions. Krešo, an unemployed biologist with a low self-esteem and a marriage crisis, is one of the men hired to do the job. However, things complicate when he falls in love with one of the widows.
