Director Igor Bezinović’s documentary-fiction feature Fiume o Morte! was presented before an audience for the first time at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, on Sunday, 2nd February, in a crowded cinema in the centre of Rotterdam. The film’s producers are Tibor Keser and Vanja Jambrović (Restart), while the title screened in Tiger Competition, the main feature film programme.
The debut feature written and directed by Georgi M. Unkovski, DJ Ahmet, realised in co-production with Croatian company 365 Films (with Katarina Prpić as co-producer), took home two awards from the Sundance Film Festival, which took place in Park City, Utah, running 23rd January – 2nd February.
The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent, directed by Nebojša Slijepčević and produced by Katarina Prpić and Danijel Pek (Antitalent), wins a nomination for the César Award of the French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques in the category of Best Short Film. The film is made in minority co-production with French company Les Films Norfolk, with co-producer Noëlle Lévénez.
