César Charlone, Uruguayan-Brazilian director of photography and an Oscar nominee (City of God, The Constant Gardener, Blindness, The Pope’s Toilet…) spoke about his experience in creating wondrous moving images for Fernando Meirelles, Spike Lee, Tony Scott, his grandfather, his father and himself. Jørgen Leth is a legendary Danish director, poet and sports announcer, one of the leading experimental documentary filmmakers and a lecturer at the Danish Film School in Copenhagen and Studio Center in Oslo. His most acclaimed film is The Perfect Man (1967), also inserted in The Five Obstructions – a joint film by Leth and Lars von Trier from 2003.
