The festival is taking place from October 25th to 30th.

Competing in Between the Seas, a programme screening films from Central and Eastern Europe, is A Two Way Mirror by Katarina Zrinka Matijević. The short film Zagreb Confidential – Imaginary Futures by Darko Fritz will screen in the Short Joy competition. Darko Fritz also wrote the film, the editor is Ivan Marušić – Klif, and the cinematographer is Ivana Marinić Kragić who is also the film’s producer (Marinis Media).

Ivan Faktor’s I Would Leave Everything Here will be screening in the Fascinations experimental film programme. The 11-minute film records the observations of the four seasons through a hospital room window. Ivan Faktor is the film’s writer, director, and cinematographer, the editor is Damir Čučić, and the producer is Vera Robić-Škarica of the Croatian Film Association.

The festival’s industrial section, the East Silver Market, which awards the Silver Eye prize, will choose a winner from 11 short films, including Ivan Ramljak’s Islands of Forgotten Cinemas. The film is a poetic documentary about the lost culture of cinema-going in small towns on Croatian islands during the second half of the last century. The cinematographer is Ivan Slipčević, the editor is Damir Čučić, and the producers are Vanja Jambrović and Tibor Keser of Restart.

Also this year, participating at the Emerging Producers workshop, which will run in parallel with the festival, is Croatian producer Tibor Keser, while the industrial programme, Inspiration Forum, will be hosted by Croatian filmmaker Zorko Sirotić.
