World premieres of How Come It’s All Green Out Here? and The Other Side of Summer at 59th Karlovy Vary IFF

Director and screenwriter Nikola Ležaić’s feature How Come It’s All Green Out Here?, a co-production with Croatian company Nukleus Film (co-produced by Siniša Juričić), will premiere as part of the Proxima Competition at the 59th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Having its world premiere in the same programme is Czech director Vojtěch Strakatý’s feature The Other Side of Summer, realised in co-production with Wolfgang & Dolly (Matija Drniković, Tamara Babun Zovko). The festival takes place from 4 to 12 July.

Nebojša Slijepčević’s The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent shortlisted for Oscar nomination

Directed by Nebojša Slijepčević and produced by Katarina Prpić and Danijel Pek (Antitalent), The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent, has been shortlisted among 15 short fiction titles from around the world running for an Oscar nomination, awarded by the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The nominations in all the categories will be announced on 17th January 2025, while the 97th Oscars gala will take place on 2nd March in Los Angeles.
