The 60th DOK Leipzig - International Festival for Documentary and Animated Film will take place in Leipzig from October 30th to November 5th. It is one of the most prominent European festivals of its kind and this year will include three Croatian films.

Audiences will have the opportunity to watch the minority Croatian co-productions Airport by Michaela Müller (Croatian co-producer – Bonobostudio) and Chintis Lundgren’s Manivald (Croatian co-producer – Jadranska Animacija) in this year’s International Short Film competition.  The winner will receive the Golden Dove and a 5000 EUR cash prize. Both films will have their German premieres in Leipzig.

I Can Imagine It Very Well has been selected to screen in the Post-Angst programme geared toward films that depict everyday life in fear, anthropomorphic fears, and obsessive-compulsive disorders while offering ideas on how to overcome them. Daniel Šuljić’s animated 2003 film is the story of a father who imagines the desperation he would feel at the loss of his daughter.

The DOK Leipzig – International Festival for Documentary and Animated Film was founded in 1955 and is one of the oldest festivals in the world dedicated to documentary film.
