15th Sarajevo Film Festival Audience Prize goes to Sevdah
Marina Andree’s documentary film Sevdah was voted the Best Film by the audience of the 15th Sarajevo Film Festival (August 12-20), receiving an average grade of 4.9.
In doing so, Sevdah beat many prestigious titles shown at the festival, among which Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler and Pedro Almodóvar’s Broken Embraces and made the festival’s history as the first Croatian and European documentary film to win this prestigious prize after Michael Moore’s world acclaimed documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 back in 2004.
