Vladimír Dzuro, is the only Czech investigator to have worked for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. His task was to collect evidence against war criminals and perpetrators of ethnic cleansing. A quarter of a century later, together with Dzuro, we embark on a tour of the sites of his investigations, meeting with surviving witnesses of the ethnically motivated crimes. What do the Balkans look like today, 25 years after the violent conflicts? And most importantly, has the ‘Hague justice’ brought any meaning or resolution to those who went through the worst?
