Facing the prospect of her imminent death, the renowned Croatian photographer Marija Braut (80) looks back on her life and work. For the first time ever, she speaks openly about her most intimate feelings, voices her greatest fear that she will leave this world without being properly understood, and explains the reasons why she found the courage to be the only woman photographer of her generation in Ex-Yugoslavia.

Marko Stanić directed, shot and edited the documentary films Welcome to Zagreb (2008, for the American market), Marija Walks in Silence (2009) and See You in a Year! (2013). He has worked as director and director of photography on music videos and commercials, and as camera operator on television shows, including TV series, sports shows, etc. He is the co-owner of the small production company Kadar 22.
