Anka is a story about an orphan girl who is adopted by a wealthy cousin. Shortly after Anka’s arrival, the cousin shows her true colours, making the girl run back to the orphanage. The path takes her to a brickyard deep in the forest. The harsh-faced, but big-hearted brickyard workers provide Anka with a temporary home. There, she discovers a wondrous fairy-tale world full of forest creatures only imaginative children can see.
