83rd Venice International Film Festival: World Premieres of Until the Day Ends, Balcanica, and Eyes of Shame in Competition Programmes

This year’s 83rd Venice International Film Festival opens on Wednesday, 2 September. Three films co-produced by Croatian companies will have their world premieres across three different programmes. The feature-length fiction film Until the Day Ends by Jelena Maksimović (co-production: Dinaridi Film) has been selected for the Horizons (Orizzonti) programme, while the feature film Balcanica by Nicola Sorcinelli (co-production: Antitalent) will be presented as part of the parallel programme Venice Days (Giornate degli Autori). In addition, the VR animated film Eyes of Shame by Tomas Tamosaitis, co-produced by Minya Film and Animation, has been selected for the Venice Immersive programme.
