World Premiere of Documentary Film Mitch – the Diary of Schizophrenic Patient at FIDMarseille

The feature-length documentary film Mitch – the Diary of Schizophrenic Patient, directed by Damir Čučić, will have its world premiere in the international competition of FIDMarseille.

The 25th Marseille International Film Festival FIDMarseille takes place 1-7 July and its official competition will present a total of 15 films.

Mitch – the Diary of Schizophrenic Patient is a documentary autobiography, a portrait of a 42-year-old schizophrenic who plays an active role in its making, opposite two directors and a cinematographer. Mitch takes part in film therapy, which is conducted carefully throughout several years, building a work of art. His film ‘therapist’ is Damir Čučić, the director who appears in the film as an active participant. The therapy takes place in several stages, with camera-related tasks. Mitch performs them depending on where he is at a particular moment.

The film was written by Damir Čučić and Mišel Škorić, and produced by Siniša Juričić from Nukleus film.
