The Constitution, Into the Blue and Gamer Girl win CinEast audience awards
The festival winners were announced on Friday, October 20th, at the ceremony held in Luxembourg.
Three Croatian films took home audience awards at the 10th Central and Eastern European Film Festival – CinEast, held from October 5th to 22nd across the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Rajko Grlić’s The Constitution received the most audience votes in the feature film category, while Into the Blue by Antoneta Alamat Kusijanović and Gamer Girl by Irena Jukić Pranjić won audience awards in the short film and short animated film categories.
A total of 60 feature and 40 short films from 18 Central and Eastern European countries screened at this year’s festival, and included nine Croatian films in five categories. The Grand Prix went to the Polish film Birds are Singing in Kigali by Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzystof Krauze.
