Party wins Award for Best Short Film, No One's Son wins Award for Best Actor
Dalibor Matanić’s Party was awarded Gold Mikeldi Award for best short film at the 51st Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Films in Spain, and Alen Liverić won The Sarmatian Golden Lion Award for Best Actor in Arsen A. Ostojić’s film No One's Son at International Film Festival East-West in Orenburg, Russia.
Dalibor Matanić’s Party was awarded Gold Mikeldi Award for best short film at the 51st Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Films in Spain (23rd – 28th of November 2009). 84 documentaries, short fiction films and animated films were shown in the festival competition. After the world premiere at Critic’s Week in Cannes, Party won The Heart of Sarajevo for best short film at Sarajevo Film Festival and awards at festivals in Italy and Vukovar.
Alen Liverić won The Sarmatian Golden Lion Award for Best Actor in Arsen A. Ostojić’s film No One's Son at International Film Festival East-West in Orenburg, Russia, held from 23rd till 28th of November 2009. He was already been awarded the Golden Arena award for best leading actor in No One's Son at the 55th Pula Film Festival (2008).
Party was produced by Kinorama (Croatia). No One's Son was produced by Alka Film (Croatia) in association with Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) and Radio-Television Slovenia (RTS).
