Nikša Sviličić's I Believe in Angels in International Competition in Cairo
The director Nikša Sviličić’s first feature I Believe in Angels will be shown in the International Competition of the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival, which will take place in Cairo, Egypt from 10th till 20th of November this year. Sviličić’s film will be competing among 14 films from all around the world for several prizes.
This romantic tragicomedy, set on a small Croatian island, has its premiere at 56th Pula Film Festival in July this year. The film has been awarded Audience Award.
The Cairo International Film Festival was established in 1976 and it was the first international film festival in the Middle East and the only international competitive film festival in Africa and in the Middle East recognized as “A festival” by the FIAPF.
I Believe in Angels was produced by Proactiva in association with Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT).
