Oncology & I is a web-based encyclopaedia for children and parents involving a collection of creative documentaries about children cancer patients. The project was envisaged as a network-based service – a website and an application – intended primarily for education and exchange of experiences and knowledge among parents and children suffering from cancer in Croatia and elsewhere.

The Oncology & I (working title) website and application were designed as a simple and visually attractive way to help, with a certain dose of humour, children cancer patients and their parents cope with difficult life situations as quick, easy and painless as possible. In addition to the website, the project will feature a collection of short creative documentaries about the experiences of children and parents.

The project is co-produced by My Magical Thoughts (Moje Čarobne Misli) production company and Krijesnica association. The project author is Helena Bulaja, with Zoran Cipek as the producer and coordinator. Oncology & I is the second original project designed and produced by Helena Bulaja to be presented at CINEKID Junior co-production market. In 2010 she participated with her project The Cat Time Stories, which was this year granted financial support by the MEDIA Programme for animated projects in development.

Cinekid is the largest world festival of films, TV content and new media intended for children age 4 to 14. Each year it is attended by 50,000 people.
