Games Croatia Podcast Launches with First Episode Focused on Indie Game Design
The Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) is proud to announce the launch of the Games Croatia Podcast, a new video and audio series dedicated to showcasing and supporting the Croatian video game development community. The podcast is part of the broader Games Croatia initiative, created to strengthen the visibility and development of Croatia’s game industry on both national and international levels.
The premiere episode, titled “Game Design for Indie Video Games”, is now available on YouTube, Spotify, Instagram and TikTok. Divided into two parts, the episode highlights the creative and technical challenges of indie game development through insightful conversations with three Croatian game designers:
- Tea Stepanić – Game Designer and Producer, BlackMill Games
- Rea Budić – Game Designer, Tiny Meow Studio
- Vanja Čulek – Game Designer, mossfish
The discussion is moderated by Dunja Trojan, Director of Broadcast.hr and GameHub TV.
About the Podcast
The Games Croatia Podcast will feature a total of eight episodes throughout 2025. Each episode will explore a key theme relevant to the video game industry, while spotlighting different local developers, studios, and collaborative efforts within the Games Croatia ecosystem. Future episodes will also delve into HAVC-supported programs and initiatives aimed at nurturing Croatia’s creative gaming talent.
