Friends and colleagues pay tribute to Albert Kapović
Numerous friends and colleagues from abroad have paid their tribute to Albert Kapović upon his sudden and unexpected death.
Deeply saddened by this loss which was sudden and unexpected, we wish to pay tribute to Albert’s excellent work, a member of the Board particularly appreciated by the whole profession, who greatly contributed to the reflection and the progress of the work of the Eurimages Fund, but also to the development of Croatian cinema. We offer our sincere condolences to his family and in particular to his son and wife, Ida.

Quelle horrible nouvelle ! La rencontre, très brève, avec Albert Kapović, m’a laissée l’impression d’un homme magnifique, humainement et professionnellement, que je me réjouissais de rencontrer à nouveau.
Anne-Marie Luccioni, Head of EURODOC Programme
We were so sorry to hear this very sad and completely unexpected news. Even if we did not have the chance to know Albert deeper, we really had the strong feeling to have met a very special person.
