Besides Daniel Šuljić, the artistic director of the Festival, selectors in categories Grand Competition – Short Film and Croatian Film Competition were Margit Antauer and Thomas Johnson, while Lucija Bužančić and Lea Vidaković took part in the selection for the Student Film Competition.

Between more than 820 films submitted for the category Grand Competition - Short Film, the selection committee chose 44 films. Among 840 submitted student films, Student Film Competition will present 45, while this year's Croatian Film Competition will consist of 23 films.

31st World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb will take place in Zagreb from 7th till 12th June 2021.

Selection results for the Grand Competition - Feature Film, Films for Children Competition, VR Animation Competition and World Panorama, as well as the full details of the festival program will be announced soon.
