Robert (39), a writer, journalist, and alcoholic suffering from war-induced PTSD, manages to sleep with four women; get fired as a journalist and hired as a screenwriter; suffer burns and contract sexually transmitted diseases; become both a father and a godfather; get into fights and instigate two others; cause his friend to lose his job—and much worse... all in just four drunken days.

Based on the novel, short stories, and poems by Croatian writer Robert Roklicer, the film—through dark humor and self-irony—explores PTSD, alcoholism, and a Croatian society devastated by war and the economic transition of the early 2000s.
