There was no Wind is all but classical documentary. It tells a story of Zlarin island in a slightly different way. At the same time it is a film about an island, but also about the filmmaking process itself. It uncovers the position of documentary film as a form that tends to preserve its ‘objective’ status, while at the same it is totally depending on choices and decisions of the author.
