Gabrijela travels to New York to collect the belongings of her late great-aunt Gea Koenig — a photographer who lived in the legendary Westbeth Artists Housing complex. Through Gea's  photographs and personal belongings, Gabrijela uncovers different layers of her life, as well as the world of the older artists living in Westbeth. The Dying of the Light is an intimate exploration of the passage of time, the power of art, and the fragility of human existence.
