Suppression – this film dyptich is based upon Renata Poljak’s personal experience of her journey from Belgrade to Vukovar and what she encountered there in terms of the relationship between the embattled Croatian and Serbian nations. Her work shows how she was manipulated and surprised by her own ‘incorrect’ emotions.
