Helena Schultheis (1972) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She studied at Rietveldacademie in the Netherlands and completed a master class at Amsterdam’s Institut Voor Schilderkunst. Since 1989 she has pursued a productive career in experimental film, and her films have been screened at numerous festivals in Croatia and internationally. She works as a docent at the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb.
