An urban shopping mall: crowds of people in a shopping frenzy and alluring products are contrasted with the tired, lonely, expressionless faces of the customers and employees. Seen from the director’s subjective point of view, the film ponders on the emptiness of consumerism, the superficiality of human communication and the alienation in modern life. It was shot with hidden camera for authenticity.
