The Grič cannon in a mediaeval Lotršćak Tower in Zagreb is one of the city’s most famous landmarks. Once upon a time the cannon used to signal the high noon for all the bell-ringers in the city churches and now it marks time for hundreds of thousands of twenty-first century city dwellers.

Stanka Gjurić is a poet, a writer and an independent filmmaker. She has also tried her skills as an actress and has appeared in four feature films so far. In 2006, she started making short documentary and experimental films that have been shown at numerous international film festivals.
