My Dad's Lessons is a film essay that explores the relationship between the director and her late father. Father left hundreds of hours of recorded material - from family footage, recordings of the city of Osijek from the 1980s until his death, to footage from their travels around the world. Watching all these recordings created during his lifetime, director Dalija attempts to delve into and re-understand their relationship, expressing to her father everything she hasn't said until now.
