Love Thy Neighbor is a short documentary portrait of a 51-year-old man who lives near Sinj in the Dalmatian hinterland. It’s also a film about film, or more precisely, about the process of making a documentary, in which the author and the protagonist argue constantly about the story and content. Which of them triumphs in these altercations is unimportant, because their collaborative effort to make a film is a testament to our differences and peculiarities. Love Thy Neighbor shows how the adventure of shooting a film can be utterly unpredictable, yet great fun as well.
