Partly inspired by a personal story, Honey Bunny is a character study of Tonina, whose secretive move to secure a coveted family property on the island of Hvar fractures her relationship with her sister Tajana. Tonina has always taken care of everyone; she has no trouble doing so and is happy to make sacrifices. But she will also take what she believes she is entitled to. However, her secret is eventually revealed, leading to a family reunion filled with simmering resentments, where unspoken tensions come to a head.
