A young woman goes through her morning coffee ritual. The space surrounding her is invisible, characteristic of the passage from dream into waking state. Only when the smell of coffee fills her home, the objects around her become real.

Martina Lukanović (1982) graduated in Applied Arts in Rijeka and Visual Communications – Graphic Design from the University of Central England, Birmingham, UK. Even as a high-school student, she worked as comics-workshop consultant in association with Krešimir Zimonić. She works as a professional graphic designer and entrepreneur since 2006. First Thing is her animation debut.
