Accessibility statement

The Croatian Audiovisual Centre is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of websites and software solutions for mobile devices of public sector bodies of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette no. 17/19; hereinafter Act on the Accessibility of websites and software solutions for mobile devices of public sector bodies), which transposes the Web Accessibility Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council, adopted on 26th October, 2016, on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (SL L 327, on 2nd December, 2016).

This Accessibility Statement applies to the Croatian Audiovisual Centre website on the web location www.havc.hr, as well as to distinct web pages of the departments of HAVC: Department for encouraging investment in audiovisual production, filmingincroatia.hr, and the Creative Europe Desk – MEDIA Office Croatia, mediadesk.hr.

Compliance status

These internet pages are to a great extent aligned with the Act on the Accessibility of websites and software solutions for mobile devices of public sector bodies, as well as CARNET Guidelines for ensuring digital accessibility that have been revised and approved by the national umbrella organization of persons with disabilities.

On 15th September, 2020, the initial evaluation of the level of compliance for all three aforementioned websites is as follows:

Hrvatski audiovizualni centar
Filming in Croatia
DKE – Ured MEDIA Hrvatske

The Croatian Audiovisual Centre and the CED – MEDIA Office Croatia websites continue to adapt so as to achieve the highest level of accessibility, whereas the website of Filming in Croatia will be completely redesigned in October 2020, with accessibility adjustments being integrated into the new website.

Non-accessible content

Certain elements of the accessibility requirement (as indicated in the initial evaluation listed above) have not been met because these smaller programming solutions had not been provisioned during the creation of these websites, however, the greatest portion of content such as texts and files is accessible and in the following period effort will be made to achieve the highest possible level of accessibility.

Preparation of this Accessibility Statement

This Statement was prepared on 21st September, 2020, according to the Model Accessibility Statement complying with the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, established by Commission Implementing Decision EU 2018/1523 of 11th October, 2018.
