The European Film Agencies (European Film Agency Directors association) gathers 35 national film agencies from Europe. Their mission is to support audiovisual creation and distribution and promote cultural diversity. EFAD closely follows up all European policy developments related to digital changes, copyrights, combating piracy, film literacy, etc. With its headquarters in Brussels, the association established a permanent and constructive dialogue with EU institutions as well as with partners in the film industry.

The meeting in Zagreb will give the opportunity to members to know more about the HAVC, its priorities and challenges and follows the AEM (Agency for Electronic Media) conference on media literacy allowing the EFAD members to participate in the same, considering that media and film literacy is deeply rooted in the strategic vision of cooperation development of European film centres.
