The Brave Adventures of a Little Shoemaker seen by over 100 thousand people

The children’s film The Brave Adventures of a Little Shoemaker by Silvije Petranović this weekend crossed the 100,000 viewers line. The title actor Mile Biljanović personally presented the award to the 100,000th viewer at Zagreb’s CineStar Avenue Mall multiplex.

This weekend the children’s fiction film The Brave Adventures of Little Shoemaker, directed by Silvije Petranović broke the ‘100’ benchmark in Croatian cinemas – this Sunday the number of viewers rose to as many as 104,130.

On that occasion, at CineStar Avenue Mall in Zagreb, the 100,000th viewer, Lucija Vida, was personally surprised by the main actor Mile Biljanović who gave her a sponsor’s prize package.

Once again, Little Shoemaker has recorded extremely great rates since the beginning of distribution on 7th November – in the first weekend it had almost 21,693 viewers, which made it the second best opening weekend since 1990. The second weekend scored somewhat less, 20,648, the third 16,220 and the fourth 9,895. According to the estimates, in the next few weeks it will continue garnering quite successful results.

The film was written and directed by Silvije Petranović. In addition to Biljanović, the film stars Ena Lulić and Goran Navojec. It is produced by Maydi Film and co-funded by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. The distributer is Blitz film & video.
