Projects and participants of the 3rd RE–ACT Workshop announced

Croatian Audiovisual Centre, FVG Audiovisual Fund and Slovenian Film Centre announced projects and participants of the 3rd RE–ACT Workshop that is held alongside the brand new TorinoFilmLab’s SeriesLab Programme. The projects selected are fiction and documentaries, and for the first time ever, TV Series projects!

Representatives of Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund and Slovenian Film Centre announced today in Berlin the participants of the 3rd RE–ACT workshop that will take place in Pordenone (Italy), from 11 to 14 March 2017, in collaboration with the cultural association Cinemazero.

RE–ACT's workshops are taking place in three year period from 2015, giving at least six creative teams from FVG, Slovenia and Croatia the opportunity to develop their projects in individual meetings with TFL and RE–ACT experts/tutors, to work in group sessions and participate in TFL’s and RE–ACT plenary sessions, to take part in a tailor-made networking platform and present their projects to possible co-producing partners and film funds’ representatives.

After the successful two editions of RE–ACT Workshop, once again this year the chosen creative teams will be working on their projects in development alongside tailor made RE–ACT programme combined with SeriesLab programme activities.

Out of 20 projects submitted for the third RE–ACT Workshop, the following 7 were selected:

3. Penguins, writer: Anita Ceko, director: Ivan Sikavica, producer: Jure Pavlović (Sekvenca), Croatia, TV Series
4. The witch hunter, writer: Maja Pek, producer: Danijel Pek (Antitalent), Croatia, TV Series
5. Borderline, writers/directors: Tiha Gudac, Iva Tkalec, Isabella Rinaldi, producer: Ljubo Zdjelarević (Kinoteka), Croatia, TV Series
6. Krvava snezinka, writers: Luca Chinaglia, Anton Špacapan Vončina, director: Luca Chinaglia, producers: David Cej, Igor Prinčič (Transmedia), Italy, feature film
7. Nuovo cinema Buie, writer: Mila Orlic, director: Alessio Bozzer, producer: Alessio Bozzer (Videoest), Italy, documentary film
