Producer Anita Juka at 7th Producers Lab Toronto
Producer Anita Juka from 4Film will participate in the 7th Producers Lab Toronto platform aimed at connecting film professionals from Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The Lab will be held from September 6th to 9th during the 41st Toronto International Film Festival.
As one of 24 selected participants, with numerous international co-productions in her filmography, Anita Juka will present her new project, My Personal War Criminal, currently in development, and will participate in numerous networking activities during the three day event. The platform is organized by the European national film agency organization European Film Promotion (EFP), as well as the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) and the Toronto International Film Festival.
Anita Juka is the producer of many feature and short films, including Ivona Juka’s feature film You Carry Me, which won awards at many international festivals (Pula Film Festival, Herceg-Novi Film Festival, Avvantura Film Festival Zadar, LET’S CEE Festival, FEST Belgrade, United International Film Festival). Her filmography also includes the feature films Here by Zrinko Ogresta, Slovenian Girl by Damjan Kozole, Good Night, Missy by Metod Pevec, the documentaries Facing the Day by Ivona Juka, Bad Blue Boys by Branko Schmidt, Blue Rose Garden by Mladen Santrić, and many others.
