On Monday, 9th March, the Secretariat of the Council of Europe announced that, due to the evolving Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak in Europe and the Council of Europe's host country France, all meetings of the missions with headquarters in France will be cancelled. 

In line with this decision, the members of the Eurimages Secretariat are unable to travel to Zagreb, therefore, the 158th Board of Management meeting, that was to be held in Zagreb 17th – 20th March, as well as the fund’s evaluation study groups’ meeting, planed for 16th March, have been cancelled. 

In light of the present situation, the Eurimages Secretariat expressed its sincerest regret for not being able to respond to the invitation of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre to attend the meeting in Zagreb. 

This is the first Eurimages Board of Management meeting that has been postponed since its founding in 1989, and faced with this unique situation, the bodies of the fund are working on finding a solution as soon as possible, in order to be able to reach the decisions, in compliance with its regulations, on the projects that the fund will support in this deadline.

In addition, Eurimages is considering scheduling one of its upcoming Board of Management meetings in Zagreb.
