During the Sarajevo Film Festival, the Talents Sarajevo takes place, a program aimed at young actors, directors, producers, cinematographers and film critics from the Southeast Europe and South Caucasus. In 2019, actors Tara Thaller and Marko Braić, director Sara Jurinčić, screenwriter Dora Šustić and producers Tamara Babun and Tina Tišljar participated in the Talents Sarajevo program realized with the support of the HAVC (Croatian Audiovisual Centre).

International Casting Directors Network workshop for actors was held for the second time as part of the Sarajevo Film Festival. Forty-eight actors from Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina applied for participation and thirteen of them were selected. Croatian actors who participated in the workshop were actresses Judita Franković Brdar and Anja Matković and actors Goran Marković and Marko Petrić, and the HAVC provided financial support for 3 of our representatives. International Casting Directors Network workshop consisted of a masterclass and a PR program. In the workshop, the actors perfected their skills in recording video presentations and self-tape auditions (in both their mother tongue and in a foreign language) and worked on audition preparation techniques through scene breakdown.
