One of the main reasons for the enduring existence of wars are the narratives and stories that are transmitted from generation to generation. These stories have been passed on within families, especially in the Balkans where all the nations believe that they are being denied some of their own territories, which are in possession of their neighbours. This is also the reason for the ongoing war in Ukraine.
