Tomislav Gregl (1961) is a trick cinematographer, one of the few people in Croatia with this skill. His professional career started in 1987 at the Animated Film Studio, Croatia film in Zagreb. As a master of his craft, he was involved in a large number of artistic films. He has worked on animated feature films Snowcap (1989) and Lapitch, the Little Shoemaker (1996). Longing (2005) was his debut film and the technique used in Malformance Performance (2007) made it a very specific film, since he used clay animation shot by a horizontal trick-camera.
