American musician Herbert Butros Khaury (1932–1996), known as Tiny Tim, was a controversial figure. His career reached its heights in the late 1960s with his emblem song Tiptoe Through the Tulips. Some see him as a freak, some as a genius, but nobody remains indifferent. His falsetto, cheerful songs, and androgynous appearance led the way for artists like David Bowie, Prince, and Boy George among others.
