In the area of Bosanska Posavina, the clashes during World War II actually began only in 1943, the most interesting case being the town of Odžak, which, due to unfavorable terrain, could not be captured for a long time. The extremely difficult conflict did not come to an end until May 25, 1945. Because of the death of a large number of men, the demographic picture of the area changed, leaving mostly women with small children. The film addresses innocent suffering without establishing anyone’s guilt, which continued even after the war due to the payment of reparations.
