After her father got a job in a factory that manufactures robotic animals on a newly settled Crystal Planet , 11-year old Rea accidentally discovers a cute cub of an unusual and unknown animal which lives in underground caves that ended up on the surface of the planet by set of unusual circumstances.  Together with her new neighbour, a 11-year od boy Andy, she tries to save the cub from the greedy factory owner who wants to turn it into a robotic animal.
