This feature-length low-budget film interweaves three film genres: documentary – portraying the city from the personal point of view of its typical inhabitants; live-action – the narrative is presented with fictional action, resembling early preparations for a theatre play; and experimental – in terms of editing, i.e., connecting two different forms into a new, alternative form of cinematic unity. The visuals include documentary scenes of specific urban locations where the action ‘takes place’. However, these spaces are ‘empty’ – there are no characters and no actors’ interpretations, thus presenting a somewhat ironic approach to filmmaking.

Boris Greiner (1959) worked from 1983 to 2003 on his 20-year-long art project Greiner & Kropilak Mailart Office, together with Stanislav Habjan. In 2001, with Stanislav Habjan, Danijel Žeželj and Boris Cvjetanović he established Petikat Art Workshop. As an author, he is equally active in the media of film, literature and multimedia. He has written four books, made ten films, held 17 exhibitions and around 20 performances.
