This film follows the troubled preparations of Danijela Grgić, a talented and promising Croatian athlete, for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Through the story of Danijela, the film deals with the complex issues affecting high-level athletics, and also provides a subtle analysis of human nature and warped social values.

Slaven Žimbrek (1964) an independent filmmaker and producer. He studied at the New York Film Academy, as well as at the film department of New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Slaven has directed over 20 award-winning short and medium-length fiction films, documentaries and experimental films.
