The experimental animated film On Time, On Space explores the spatial awareness we acquire from the day of our birth: left and right, up and down, closer and farther away. Mastering these realities gives all creatures the ability to move efficiently around the world. What happens if we distort these dimensions while trying to the time-space continuum? What if we switch right and left, down and up, closer and farther away, what if we try to represent the space around us at the same time, in its entirety?

Jelena Bračun (1980) graduated in 1999 from the department of prints and drawings at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb. She also received her ba from the teacher-training department at the Academy of Fine Arts. Her experimental film Fragments (2008) has won numerous awards and critical acclaim.
