A docudrama follows three women through different stages of emotional abuse in intimate relationships. They are the ones living their lives — until he sits in the driver’s seat and slowly takes control. Through their testimonies and the car metaphor, the film explores mechanisms of psychological violence — control, manipulation, isolation, gaslighting, and the loss of self. The film focuses on what often goes unrecognized as abuse: words, gestures, and patterns of behavior that occur behind closed doors and gradually become normalized. Through three parallel stories, the film creates space for recognition, empathy, and conversation, aiming to raise awareness about emotional abuse and to show that help and a way out do exist.
