Drmun means forest and Puški means public. Spanning centuries, Drmun Puški has been the common property of the inhabitants of Šotovento village. In 2018, a project was proposed that would turn the forest into a tourist resort leased to a private investor, providing accommodation for up to 12000 tourists and stripping the villagers or their right to use the land. The locals decide to take matters in their own work-worn hands.
