The documentary film "The Croatian Postage Stamp" is the final part of a trilogy dedicated to the world of philately, following the films The Philatelist and The European Postage Stamp. The film follows the development of the Croatian postage stamp from the independence of the Republic of Croatia in 1991 to 2026, revealing how small formats of postage stamps have become a kind of visual record of a society and time over the decades. Through archival materials and interviews with prominent Croatian designers Boris Ljubičić, Alenka Lalić and Dean Roksandić, the film explores the creative processes of stamp creation and their contribution to shaping the national visual identity. From the first state-building motifs to contemporary cultural and social themes, postage stamps bear witness to the changes that have marked contemporary Croatian history.
